Chapter 2488: Temptation (part 2)
Mo Hua felt like he had walked into a "wolf’s den."After entering the Sect, the Canglang Sect Leader arranged an extremely high-standard guest room for Mo Hua.
Incense was burning in the guest room, wolf pelts were spread on the floor, the bed curtains were a pale gold, exuding a sense of decadent luxury.
"Our Sect is crude and simple, I’ve wronged Young Master Mo," the Canglang Sect Leader said.
Mo Hua cupped his hands. "Sect Leader, you flatter me."
The Canglang Sect Leader said, "I won’t disturb Young Master Mo’s rest. In the coming days, you may stroll around within the Sect, or go see the customs of Canglang City... if you need anything, just tell me."
"Of course, if Young Master Mo is willing to join my Canglang Sect, that would be more than welcome."
Mo Hua nodded, looking genuinely sincere as he said, "I’m honored by the Sect Leader’s favor. I’ll be sure to think it over carefully."
The Canglang Sect Leader looked pleased. "I’m busy with affairs, so I won’t keep you company..."
Mo Hua cupped his hands. "Sect Leader, please."
The Canglang Sect Leader gave a slight nod and then left.
In the room, only Mo Hua was left.
He turned over the wolf pelts on the floor, sniffed the incense, flipped through the bed curtains as well, and with golden light in his eyes, used X-ray to examine the Formation Patterns in the room. After a round of inspection, he didn’t detect anything unusual.
"This Canglang Sect does things fairly by the book, at least..."
Mo Hua muttered, but he still didn’t dare be careless.
When a boy is out traveling, he has to protect himself.
Now that he was all alone in a Sect like the Canglang Sect, of course he had to be extra cautious and keep his guard up.
Being careful never goes wrong.
Mo Hua set up a pile of Formations near the bed and the table.
Using the Wood Formation, he isolated the incense fragrance inside the room.
Using the Thunder Magnetic Formation, he blocked Original Magnet signals, ensuring no one could eavesdrop or monitor him.
He also arranged some Defensive Arrays for protection, to make sure no one could launch a sneak attack.
Once all the Formations were properly set up, Mo Hua sat in the very center of his own Formation before he finally felt at ease.
After traveling in the wind and sleeping in the open, constantly suppressing Evil Qi, he was indeed a bit tired, so on the wide bed he sat in meditation to rest, calming his mind and nurturing his spirit.
Night gradually fell, and incense smoke swirled in the room.
About four hours later, a soft knocking sounded at the door.
Mo Hua opened his eyes, his expression somewhat subtle, then got up and went to open the door.
He saw two gracefully built young women standing outside. They weren’t very old, their appearances similar, clad in light gauze, with half-bare fragrant shoulders and alluring figures faintly visible.
The two women bent their bodies and saluted Mo Hua, speaking softly:
"Young Master, at the Sect Leader’s order, we sisters have come to warm your bed."
This pair of sisters had lovely faces; in their purity there was also a hint of teasing allure that tugged at the heart and stirred pity.
Mo Hua instead asked in puzzlement, "In this weather, it’s so hot—what bed is there to warm?"
The two women froze.
The older sister, who was a bit more experienced in such matters, flushed and said softly, "We sisters are here to... attend upon the Young Master..."
Mo Hua directly shook his head. "I have hands and feet; I don’t need attending."
The two women were stunned.
Mo Hua waved his hand. "You can go."
The younger of the two sisters had her eyes redden; a crystal tear fell onto her fair cheek as she looked about to cry and said:
"We beg the Young Master to take pity on us. We obey the Sect Leader’s orders; if we don’t serve the Young Master well, we’ll have no..."
Bang—
Before she finished, the door slammed shut.
Mo Hua had already lost his patience.
Only a fool would believe that kind of tragic line.
He was busy with Cultivation, Enlightenment, and studying Formations; how would he have time to dawdle with these clueless women and waste his time.
Women would only slow down his Cultivation.
Mo Hua closed the door.
Outside, the two women exchanged a glance, then could only leave and report everything back to the Canglang Sect Leader.
In a grand hall of the Canglang Sect.
The Canglang Sect Leader was discussing matters with a burly Elder of the Canglang Sect, whose chest bore deep claw marks and who had only one eye.
The two sisters knelt on the floor and recounted everything.
The Canglang Sect Leader remained silent.
Beside him, the one-eyed Elder let his sole remaining eye roam over the sisters’ gauzy, graceful figures, then chuckled softly:
"He could endure that? This brat... probably a virgin, never tasted the marrow-sucking, bone-eroding delight, hasn’t awakened yet..."
"Or is it..." The one-eyed Elder’s expression turned lewd. "He doesn’t like the ’pure’ type, prefers the ’wilder’ kind?"
The sisters kneeling on the floor trembled.
The Canglang Sect Leader said nothing, only waved his hand. "You may go."
"Yes."
The two sisters rose, moving lightly, and slowly withdrew.
The one-eyed Elder stared brazenly at the two sisters until their figures disappeared completely, still looking somewhat unsatisfied.
He turned his head and asked, "Big Brother, since that kid doesn’t want them, why not grant them to..."
The Canglang Sect Leader gave him a cold glance.
The one-eyed Elder gave an awkward smile.
The Canglang Sect Leader said in a deep voice, "To achieve great things, we must move slowly and steadily, not rush things."
The one-eyed Elder nodded. "True enough. He’s just a greenhorn. Maybe he can hold back for a while, but can he hold back his whole life? Sooner or later, he’ll bite."
The Canglang Sect Leader said nothing, instead sinking into focused thought.
Since Mo Hua had already arrived at the Canglang Sect, that made things easier.
Some things, even if he didn’t do them now, he wouldn’t be able to escape them sooner or later.
It’s just that...
The Canglang Sect Leader frowned.
Recently, he kept feeling uneasy inside, as if something unexpected had happened, yet he still didn’t know what...
... .
In the decadent guest room.
Mo Hua sat at the desk, Formation Paper spread out as he drew Formation with his brush. His posture was upright and elegant, his demeanor leisurely and composed.
After drawing Formations for a while, his mind calmed, and seeing that no one else was going to disturb him, Mo Hua finally put away the paper and brush, then began circulating the Seven Souls Blood Prison Pupil and the True Manual of Demonic Path Cultivation to digest the Evil Qi rebounding on him.
